Hold the Bullet is a dark Southern grindhouse film built around the tragicomic absurdity of inherited criminality. Our protagonist — a boy born into an outlaw family with no legitimate way out — navigates violence, loyalty, and survival using only his wits and a single “insurance bullet” he keeps for the moment everything falls apart.
Equal parts Coen Brothers and pure Southern Gothic — this is a film about the comedy and horror of being trapped by bloodline, and the specific kind of courage it takes to break the chain.
