From Blueprint to Frame

Joshua Robert Castaneda grew up in Alexandria, Alabama with an unshakeable drive to create — but the straight path didn’t exist. When animation and film programs weren’t accessible in his community, he enrolled in what was available: architectural drafting at Calhoun County Career Technical Center. He earned his Associate of Arts in Architectural Drafting and Design from Ayers State Technical College in Anniston, Alabama — and in the process, he learned something more valuable than any single subject: how to build things that don’t exist yet.

CAD work paid the bills — architectural surveys, topographic maps, engineering system designs, product design at Ricardo of Beverly Hills. But every precision line drawn was also training in visual thinking, spatial logic, and the discipline required to hold a vision in your head and translate it into reality. “Every frame is a room,” he would later say. “Every story is a building. You have to know what holds it up.”

He moved into journalism, working as an editor and PR professional at the Calhoun County Times. He moved west — to North Hollywood, to digital media work at Arch Enemy Entertainment, where he ran marketing campaigns including Tyrese Gibson’s Mayhem iTunes LP. He enrolled in three film programs in Southern California: College of the Desert, Los Angeles Valley College, and Columbia College Hollywood (Film and Television Producing). He studied acting. He studied cinematography. He absorbed every layer of the craft that the formal institutions of his youth had withheld.

He built ENTH3 Publishing — a BMI-registered music publisher holding 2,390 tracks across 59 albums in 10 languages, with full professional registrations across PRO, ISRC, and UPC through every major rights and distribution system. He built DLHERO LLC and ENTH3 LLC as a proprietary Wyoming-registered IP holding structure that owns 100% of everything created under his name. He founded DLHERO Studios as a Washington D.C.-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit — the educational entertainment arm of an empire built entirely from scratch, entirely independently, entirely on purpose.

His flagship film — KANEH MOVIE: Rapture@420 — is an award-winning free-speech documentary comedy now streaming on DLHERO.com. His educational puppet series, DLTUTOR, features 32 custom-built physical characters and 9 professional digital IP assets, designed for every learner who ever felt like school wasn’t talking to them. His music catalog reaches across English, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, Portuguese, Hebrew, and Malagasy — with a declared mission of reaching 1% of the global population, approximately 80 million people, through overlapping multilingual audiences.

He serves as California Chair of the National Industrial Hemp Coalition. He is based in Hollywood, California. And everything he has ever built has been in service of a single organizing truth: to glorify The Creator, and to facilitate a journey for others to find The Truth.
