FULL BREAKDOWN
True Love Beautiful is an arthouse pulp horror-satire set at the intersection of supernatural mythology and American evangelical culture. Rob, a half-breed Nephilim navigating a world that doesn’t fully accept him, falls for Ophelia — who presents as the ideal Christian woman while concealing her nature as a seductive succubus on her own agenda.
The film uses their doomed romance as a scalpel to dissect purity culture, spiritual manipulation, and the violence hidden inside idealized love. Dark, funny, visually expressive — and designed to unsettle comfortable assumptions about both faith and desire.
