DLTUTOR is DLHERO Studios’ flagship educational puppet series — a grant-funded production designed to reach children, families, and community organizations with media literacy, critical thinking, life skills, and values-based storytelling. Distributed through DLHERO.com and targeted for Amazon distribution, DLTUTOR is the educational engine at the heart of our 501(c)(3) mission.
Why Puppets?
Puppetry has a 4,000-year track record as an educational tool. It disarms. It invites. It allows children and adults alike to receive truth through characters they can love without the self-consciousness that often blocks learning. From Sesame Street to Avenue Q, the puppet has always been the vehicle for the conversation the audience wasn’t ready to have directly.
DLHERO Studios has built one of the most sophisticated independent puppet production pipelines in independent media: 32 custom-built physical puppet characters, 9 professionally designed digital character IP assets — complete with turnaround sheets, expression libraries, outfit variants, and brand usage guides. Every character is a teaching tool and a protected IP asset simultaneously.
